How It Started...
Frontline Insurance hired a company to make them an app from scratch. They spent over 600 days working on the app and never got anywhere. 600 days! It was riddled with bugs, written in two different code bases that had diverged, and wasn't what the business wanted. The hired company had no insurance background, so even talking was hard sometimes. No one was happy except the contracting company who was cashing their checks every week. When the dust finally settled, Frontline had spent over 7 figures and only had a busted app that would make a first year CompSci student blush if he turned it in for a grade.
We had written apps before, but never an insurance app despite having a ton of experience in the insurance industry. We came in and started from scratch, keeping absolutely nothing. In just 93 days, the app was available for final testing. It was at this moment that we realized we did what this big company never could, in a fraction of the time, and everyone was happy. We knew this was what we should be doing going forward because it isn't just Frontline that has bad experiences. This is why our business model is risk free for you and why you never pay us until we deliver. We won't sit back and cash your checks every week while you get angrier and angrier. We produce or we don't get paid. It's that simple.
How It's Going...
We have decided to focus solely on insurance apps as we have over a decade of experience in that realm. We have done it all - from homegrown systems to complex Guidewire implementations. We have been tech leads, architects, and managers. We know software. We know apps. We know insurance.
We have done multiple apps before. Objective-C, Swift, Java, Kotlin, Flutter, you name it! We have written an app that used a C++ state machine to periodically poll for your location using any nearby wifi signal to see if you have moved and feed that into a Machine Learning algorithm to decide whether or not you were on a bicycle. And it was designed to work even if you force closed the app! We have written apps that talk to Firebase or AWS. The only thing we haven't done is written an app for you!
Payment
The part that makes us truly unique is we don't collect a payment until we deliver. Imagine paying for a home remodel before it was completed. Why is software different than any other service? You will be happy, we guarantee it.
Flutter
We love Flutter, an open-source framework backed by Google. It allows us to use one codebase to save time writing and testing. It is compiled and ran on a C++ Skia runtime engine, so performance is blazingly fast and we can control every pixel.
Local
We are in the southeastern United States, with most of us in Florida. If you want to talk to us you won't have to wait until the next day. Why send an email when a phone call will work? No delays, no interruptons, no blockers.
